I WANT!

I went shopping over the weekend (who didn't?!) & ventured to the Coach Outlet store.  I found this beautiful jacket, the jacket was on sale & I mean massively marked down.  Regular priced $448, on sale for $180 + tax.

I walked away from the jacket because I really don't need it.  I've bought 3 jackets already during the fall.  This particular jacket is just a want right now, plus I would have had to put it on a credit card (didn't really have the extra $200 - I had already shopped) & I don't want to overextend myself in credit card debt!

Yes - I'm trying to cut back on my shopping because I do a hell of a lot of that!  I have clothes in my closet that I haven't worn in years & clothes that I bought over 2 years ago with tags still on them.

Someone please tell me I made the right decision. BLA!

I'm proud of you. Being responsible and focusing on needs sucks. But we'll thank ourselves someday. I hope.

I have the same problem!!!! But You definitely made the right decision. The jacket totally rocks but I'm sure your other jackets rock and would feel neglected if you had this one. ;)

btw - checked out that other three 6 mafia song - NICE!!

@Becca - I totally didn't need it & I'm happy I can finally say to myself OMG you're being ridiculous, you don't NEED that you just WANT that. Such an accomplishment!

@Daisy - They would have been totally neglected if I bought this Coach jacket - good thing I decided to let it stay in the store! ;)

@Michelle - I am a Coach fanatic. I used to be a Dooney & Bourke fanatic, but their recent styles don't make me look twice. I'm also a Louis Vuitton fanatic, but um, my budget says um no girl - you cannot buy anymore LV purses! On a side note, I was reading an article about A&F & how their brand was "wearing out." I will be so happy when it fades away - I used to love Abercrombie in my late teens & early 20's, but now the store just annoys me. LOL
